About the study

CFA® Institute conducted this study in India in September 2022 to better understand the impact of the CFA Program on career progression and compensation among CFA® Charterholders and CFA Program candidates in the country.

CFA Institute partnered with Kantar, the world’s leading marketing data and analytics company, to conduct an online quantitative survey. The survey received 2,154 responses from participants across India.

The highlights shared here provide clarity on the real versus perceived impact of the CFA Program and the CFA® charter on career progression and compensation in the investment management industry in India.
